Crew Member Level 3
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Crew Member Level 3, you will be a key leader on our landscape construction projects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Crew Lead & Support Members in the following:
Leading by example to ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols and project specifications.
Managing and guiding a crew to efficiently complete landscape projects to the highest standard.
Learning to manage all aspects of landscape construction, from planning to completion.
Ensuring clear communication with the office daily, including using apps and systems to track projects, timesheets, and estimates.
Managing material schedules and coordinating logistics to keep projects on track.
Operating a variety of tools and equipment (including power tools, tampers, cut-off saws, skid steers, and excavators) safely and effectively.
Completing projects on time and within budget, consistently delivering high-quality work.
Maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, and team members.
Providing exceptional customer service to ensure complete satisfaction with each project.
Participating in all required training and performance reviews to grow with the company.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications and skills:
At least 3 years of experience in landscape construction.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
In-depth knowledge of landscape construction, including plants, trees, and hardscaping techniques. Irrigation experience is a nice bonus!
Problem-solving abilities to address and resolve issues on the job site.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to job sites across the Lower Mainland.
Valid First Aid Certification.
What We Offer:
Competitive pay of $32.00 - $36.00 per hour, based on experience.
Full-time, permanent position with expected hours of 38 – 42 hours per week.
Benefits including dental care, extended health care, and vision care.
Monday to Thursday work schedule. Extra work available if desired.
